The ride to Gysmanshoek Pass is a beautiful somewhat technical ride through farmland and onto the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains in the rural Riversdal area of the Western Cape province. The gravel road twists and turns pass diary farms and plantations. A small secluded dirt road turns off the main gravel road up towards the Gysmanhoek Pass. The ride up is magnificent with Proteas and Fynbos fauna and flora as far as the eye can see. On top of Gysmanshoek Pass one is presented with a magnificent view of the Klein Karoo in all of its magical splendor. Definitely a ride to do more often.
